3rd Annual Saving Lives Motorcycle Rally and Ride to Support Detroit Area School Kids and Features Celebrity Stunt Rider Jason Britton and Team No Limit on August 6, 2011.

The Saving Lives/Back to School Motorcycle Rally and Ringo Ride will promote driver and rider safety, feature stunt shows by Jason Britton and Team No Limit, and hand out 1000 backpacks full of school supplies to Metro Detroit children.

FERNDALE, MI, August 03, 2011 /Motorcycles PR News/ -- Hundreds of motorcyclists will gather on Saturday, August 6 for the Detroit Icons 3rd Annual "Saving Lives/Back to School Motorcycle Rally" and Ringo Ride promoting driver and rider safety awareness and accident prevention. The police escorted ride will start at Steve's Soul Food (1440 Franklin St, Detroit) at 10 a.m., with kickstands up promptly at 11:15 a.m., and arrive at Ultimate Soccer Arenas (867 South Blvd, Pontiac, MI) around noon for the rally, which runs from noon-6pm.

The rally, sponsored by Compuware, will feature extreme sports celebrity Jason Britton and
Team No Limit, who will perform three motorcycle stunt shows - and also includes
demonstrations by local stunt riders, live music, and a variety of food, motorcycle and clothing
vendors.

This family friendly event costs only $5 per person, with children 13 and under admitted free.
Ladies are asked to not wear high-heeled or stiletto-style shoes or boots into the venue.

This year The Crosshairs Foundation will also be handing out 1000 backpacks full of school
supplies for children in the Detroit Metro area. The backpacks will have supplies for K - 8th
grade students, available on a first come, first serve basis. The backpacks are free of charge.

On Friday, August 5, a pre-rally event at Hard Rock Cafe (45 Monroe St., Detroit) from 2 pm -9 pm
will kick off this year's rally and help to raise additional funds. Hard Rock will be donating 10% of
all sales during this time to The Crosshairs Foundation to assist in fundraising for the
backpacks, and there will also be a meet and greet with stunt riders Jason Britton and Eric
Hoenshell, who will be signing autographs and posing for pictures in the atrium of the
Compuware Building from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Compuware Headquarters, 1 Campus Martius,
Detroit, MI (adjacent to the Hard Rock.)

While both the ride and rally will be jam-packed with fun, this annual event, named after Rochell
Ringo, who was killed in the summer of 2009 while riding her motorcycle, calls attention to the
many police officers and civilians on motorcycles that are seriously injured or killed each year on
Michigan roads. The Crosshairs Foundation (501c3) was founded by Marisa Miller, who, along
with her husband Joe, is a metro Detroit Police Officer, to bring attention to motorcycle safety
and to target local worthy causes.

The 3rd Annual "Saving Lives/Back to School Motorcycle Rally" is presented by The Crosshairs
Foundation and sponsored by Compuware, Hard Rock Cafe, and Homedics.
